I’ve worked extensively in the art department in film, where I would design sets, procure props and provide day-of styling. I also have experience working in the wardrobe department as an On-Set Costumer and stylist for TV shows and short films. Later on, at Belief Agency I was an Assistant Creative Director for the Dunn Lumber account and would style the set, shoots and stage final images of projects.

I was the production designer for a seven-part series for Amazon showcasing popular reads. I tried to be as cost-effective as possible by repurposing furniture and props, while providing variety in looks for the different segments.
Dunn DIY
Set Design & Staging
I headed a project at Belief Agency to re-do the Dunn DIY set. It had been built before I arrived on the team by a contractor without experience building sets, rather homes. He built it so that it was very impractical to move, modify or collapse and also posed safety concerns because of its weight. I worked with the lead talent of the series to develop a space that expressed her personal style and also provided interest for the videos, sourcing all the furniture & props. I then scouted a production designer who I collaborated with to build the set as per our design. We made it modular so that the back wall was easily removable, as were the bottom wall panels which were on tracks. This made it so that we could also use the set for a different video series and have it look entirely different.

I was the production designer for the commercial I directed with the help of Set Dresser, Paige Smith. I sourced and prepped all the props and wardrobe as well.

Props
I created a misty fall environment in-studio for this music video by filling the floors with leaves and modifying trees to look like they had spindly branches for a local band’s music video. It was done on a freshly painted white cyc-wall off an office, so I devised a way to protect the floors and prevent insects from taking up home in the office using roofing material and plastic sheets.

On-Set Costumer
I worked on Season 2 and 3 of Z-Nation, a SyFy TV show, as a costumer. It’s a campy show about zombies, so I started predominantly creating zombie clothes and shopping for other characters under the direction of the Wardrobe Stylist, Ashley Russel. I transitioned to be an On-Set Costumer, being the first point of contact for the wardrobe department during shooting and creating one-off pieces like an alien tail (I didn’t know it was a thing either).

I was the assistant stylist under Ashley Russel. I went shopping per her mood boards for each character, helped her prep clothes for the shoot and was there day-of for the shoot helping where needed - steaming, pulling clothes, washing, working with talent, etc.
